I’m going to be honest up front: 99% of the time I could not care less about Sufjan Stevens. I know, I know, some people see him as an indie deity ranking alongside Neutral Milk Hotel, but his music is just not for me.
The video you’re about to see, however, is 100% up my alley.
Taking Sufjan’s unsettling track “Mr. Frosty Man” into places few videos ever roam, animator Lee Hardcastle has created a wonderfully violent claymation music video to help promote the upcoming Silver & Gold box set. The plot follows a snowman who comes to life and battles a horde of zombies ruining Christmas. Seriously. You can view the clip, which may walk the line of NSFW, after the jump.
