This month marks the 20th anniversary of the release of Nirvana’s Nevermind. In order to mark this momentous occasion VH1 will be airing Nirvana: Live at the Paramount on September 23 at 11pm ET/PT. This rare gig dates back to Halloween 1991, only a month after the band’s breakthrough sophomore album shocked the world.
Some of the songs that surface during this performance include “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” “Lithium,” “Polly,” “Love Buzz,” and “Been a Son.” If you have the chance we suggest you check out this performance, however, if you miss it don’t worry because you can always pick up the DVD and Blu-ray, when it hits streets on September 27.
