Chloe Moretz Offered Hooker Role

Chloe Moretz might be heading to her most grown up role yet; a hooker.

People perked up when the 80s TV series, The Equalizer, was set to hit the big screen with Denzel Washington as the lead. The movie is getting even more attention now that it’s been said that Chloe Moretz has been offered a role in the movie as a hooker. According to ScreenCrush, Chloe impressed everyone in the room so much with not only her audition, but her chemistry with Denzel, that they rewrote the role for her.

Originally, the hooker part was intended for a woman in her 20s, not one of the rising teen starlets out there. But we’ve seen Chloe taking on more mature roles in recent years. Those who went into Kick-Ass without the comic knowledge were floored when we saw what Chloe did and said as Hit-Girl. We were terrified by her part in Let Me In and then after all those other ones, we expected her part in Hick (if we saw it, I didn’t…I remember wanting to and then forgetting about it). After Hick, being a hooker is the next logical step, of course on screen only.

The 16-year-old actress has already made any of us who saw her in Diary of a Wimpy Kid forget she was in it. Not like I watched and loved that movie or anything. Besides some roles when she was really young, Chloe’s never really done those cutesy roles, so no one should be worried about this upcoming role, if she takes it of course.

The Equalizer is slated for an April 2014 release. Chloe still won’t be an adult by then.
