Last month, we brought you one of two A-sides from the upcoming Glass Animals 12″ single, which will be the first release on Wolf Tone, Paul Epworth’s new label. Now we have the other half, “Exxus,” and it’s just as arresting as “Black Mambo.”
Accompanied by an incredibly eerie and very fitting colorful claymation video by Rafael Bonilla Jr., “Exxus” is dark and smooth like gourmet chocolate but with an increased sense of inevitable doom. With its slow and ominous atmospheric beat and silky, slow-jam vocals, this track is sure to relax you but simultaneously have you on the edge of your seat. You can stream the track via animated video after the break.
