8:18 is due to hit stores September 17 via Roadrunner Records. So far, The Devil Wears Prada have released two singles, “Martyrs” and “Home For Grave.” Today the band partnered up with The AV Club to stream another new single from the album, titled “First Sight.” If the previous two singles didn’t get you excited for the new album, then this track will. Though the previous two singles sounded like they fit with the sound of their Zombie EP, this song is easily unique to 8:18. I would recommend checking it out, and you can do so by heading here.
Haven’t pre-ordered 8:18 yet? Be sure to do so while you still can! You can choose between a number of different pre-order options on their official webstore, or you can grab a digital pre-order on iTunes.

I felt like they fit more on the second half of ‘Dead Throne.’ I loved the ‘Zombie EP’ which was their heaviest material to date but I didn’t care for the new songs personally.
Yeah the vocals definitely fit more with ‘Dead Throne’ for sure, but the songs certainly reminded me of their ‘Zombie’ EP. I’d say that EP is one of my favorite things they’ve ever done. They should do another one…
I would love for a Zombie Part 2. Even though it definitely sounded like them, it was almost as if they had channeled an even more aggressive side for that project.
For sure. Everything about that EP was great. I’d also love to see a continuation of the comic they started.
