Big Boi joins Def Jam

Big Boi, one half of Outkast, announced that he will be leaving his longtime home at Jive Records and heading over to a new situation with Def Jam. Big Boi says the deal is pretty much done, “the lawyers just have to finish their lawyering.” Soon as the deal is done, Big Boi says he plans to release his new “Sir Luscious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty” album. The new deal will reunite Big with L.A. Reid who the Outkast member says has “been with us since the beginning.”
