Japanese rockers Dir En Grey have cancelled there 2012 U.S. tour plans after vocalist Kyo’s physician recommended he take a break.
The news, which broke earlier today, came with a note from the group. The message reads:
“To our fans as well as the other bands and staff involved in the tour we extend our sincere apologies. We ask for your understanding that this was an extremely difficult decision to make. Thank you all for your continued support, which is deeply appreciated.”
This cancellation includes all dates on Asking Alexandria’s Still Reckless Tour, a pair of solo headlining shows in Seattle, WA on 3/7 and St. Petersburg, FL on 3/20.
News regarding Dir En Grey’s future tour plans, as well as details on a new album, are expected in the near future.
