Aretha Franklin Reunites With Clive Davis For New Album

The Queen Of Soul is about to make a new record and, according to THR, Clive Davis is along for the ride.

Breaking earlier today, reports are coming in that Aretha Franklin is in the early stages of plotting a comeback album with longtime cohort Clive Davis. In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Franklin offered “I have re-signed with Clive Davis, so I’m recording with Clive again,” then later added “we’re going to sit together and decide what it is we’re going to record.”

Franklin released A Woman Falling Out of Love in 2011 to rave reviews across the board. We will keep you updated with any and all developments on her new album as the gears of creation slowly begin to spin.
