The first trailer for Jenna Fischer’s indie film The Giant Mechanical Man has arrived online.

Sticking to the classic indie fare of “life is hard, people are weird, and being yourself always makes everything ok,” our first look at The Giant Mechanical Man feels like a slow pitch down the middle. Fischer plays a woman who, when fired from her job, becomes overly in-her-head and begins to reexamine the world around. During this time, she befriends a man who paints himself silver and a hippie-looking Topher Grace. She probably falls in love as well, but that part is just a guess. Lots of big films are hitting cinemas in the coming months, but fans of The Office will hopefully help The Giant Mechanical Man get a few more headlines in the coming months. Based on the trailer, are you in?
