Basement To Begin Recording New Album

One of the UK’s best up and coming bands, the emo punk group Basement, have revealed they will begin recording their new record this month. The band will be heading to San Francisco to work with the popular Sam Pura at the Panda Studios.

The band’s follow up to 2011’s killer release I Wish I Could Stay Here is expected to be released this fall on Run For Cover Records.

Basement is currently finishing up a tour in Australia that wraps at the end of this week before hitting the states and getting to work. Aside from recording, the band will be performing at this year’s Sound And Fury Festival and will be doing another US tour alongside good friends Daylight. Take a look at the band’s tour dates below past the jump and be sure to let UTG know if you plan on making it out to a show or two.
