Gilbert, Arizona indie duo, Lydia, are recording a new album with the aim of releasing it this Fall. Leighton Antelman and Craig Taylor will once again be working with producer Matt Malpass (Decoder, The Ready Set). Lydia has worked with Malpass on their previous three releases. Antelman and Malpass even started a band together called The Cinema and released their debut, My Blood is Full of Airplanes, last year.
Lydia’s forthcoming release will be their fifth and will follow-up last year’s Paint It Golden. It will also be the group’s second release as a duo, as the band disbanded in 2010 only to have Antelman and Taylor resurrect Lydia in 2011.
