Taylor Swift Reaches Milestone With ‘Red’

Taylor Swift‘s new album Red has landed her at the top, with 1.208 million copies sold of this spectacular effort in the US last week. That is the most sold since Eminem‘s The Eminem Show, dating back to 2002. Swift also arrives at the second-best sales week ever for a female artist, only being topped by pop queen Britney Spears. Spears sold 1.319 million copies of Oops! … I Did It Again in 2000.
