Trent Reznor‘s Nine Inch Nails were supposedly always going to continue existing in some way, but now he has gone on the record with an interview saying there will be a new album coming. He told Rolling Stone that “…there will be new music. There are some things in the works.”
When asked if there was a chance of touring again, he said “Yeah, if it feels right, it’s a possibility,” he said. “I never said that that wasn’t going to happen, just that it couldn’t go on as it was. Having a few years doing other things, I’ve enjoyed [them] and I’m enjoying doing How to Destroy Angels, and there will be a place for stuff that falls in the Nine Inch Nails column … It’s a different kind of work. Stay tuned. We’ll see what happens here.”
Trent will also be appearing in Dave Grohl’s upcoming documentary. Hopefully we’ll hear more out of the NiN camp soon on what they’re up, to, but I’m excited no matter what.
But, now that we've cleared that up and you called your high school janitor, know that I quit being a janitor to pursue writing about music. So here I am, and here you are, and hey how are you?
