Indie rock songwriter Kevin Devine is an artist in his own right, one half of Bad Books, and also the brother of my favorite sportswriter. He recently did an acoustic performance sponsored by Corona Extra in which he plays his song “Between the Concrete and Clouds.” It’s the title track off his most recent album, and the performance is gut-wrenching.
I was legitimately stuck listening to him cover Neutral Milk Hotel yesterday. Now I have something better to do. You can watch the heart breaking performance here by clicking “Read more”.
