Sunday night, Chiodos played a hometown gig that would be the last for the band until 2013.
To set 2012 off right, the band invited Flint, MI rapper and UTG favorite Jon Connor to the stage to freestyle over an instrumental section during “A Letter From Janelle.” Jon set the room on fire with some quick verses and got the crowd participating with a little call and response.
You can get the rapper’s latest mix tape, The People’s LP on Datpiff now. It features some of this year’s best rhymes over some classic Detroit born and bred Eminem beats.
