It looks like electronic musicians – continuing their penetration into the mainstream – are really stepping their music video game up.
Case in point, the visuals for “I Could Be The One”, the new track from Avicii (you’ve heard of him) and Nicky Romero (who? jk luv you <3). Not only is it beautifully shot, but it has a plot and everything. Doesn’t hurt that the song is pretty catchy, either.
All our protagonist wants to do is escape the daily grind of the 9 to 5. How relatable for those of us of age and gainfully employed! But can she make her escape from asshole coworkers, pill pushing psychiatrists, and the mountains of paperwork to find her EDM party paradise? You’ll lol a little, you’ll cry a little, and you will not see the ending coming.
Check out the emotionally manipulating video after the jump.
