The material that electronic music producer Dillon Francis generally doesn’t fall within the scope of what we cover here at Under The Gun Review, but a track that bangs this hard is tough to ignore. Never mind the fact that source material Francis is tweaking is a song we’re big fans of.
Apparently there are a number of admirers of Francis’ rework of Justin Timberlake’s comeback hit “Suit & Tie”, including Timberlake himself. Earlier this week the producer took to Twitter to spread the good word that his remix got the “Official” tag from JT.
Btw my “suit & tie” remix got accepted by @jtimberlake ….ill let y’all know the release date soon :)

That’s a pretty strong seal of approval considering how in control JT is of his own brand.
So what does the dang thing sound like? Well, Francis’ edit is trappy. Very trappy. The hi-hats stutter along with Timberlake’s mangled and pitched down vocals while Jay-Z is nowhere to be found. Reverent it’s not. But it claps and you can shake your ass to it. Check out the remix of “Suit & Tie” from Dillon Francis after the jump.

Trapped my heart.
Jay-Z’s rediculous management didn’t allow his precious vocals to be in the song. Don’t blame Dillon. Check your sources,
Didn’t assign blame to either party, just stating a fact about the track.
