Punk rock act Titus Andronicus are shooting a music video that you can be in. Provided, of course, that you can make it to an undisclosed location in Brooklyn, NY and can make yourself available tomorrow for most of the afternoon late into the night.
Let me explain. The group announced on their blog earlier this week that they would be filming a video for the next single off their 2012 full length Local Business, “Still Life with Hot Duce and Silver Platter”. They’re letting their fans take part in the shoot, allowing anyone who wants to be featured as a extra.
It sounds like a pretty sweet deal. Taking place from 2:30 pm to 9:00 pm tomorrow, fans will be treated to refreshments and a live performance from Titus Andronicus over the course of the day. All you have to do in exchange is be able to “rock out earnestly” for a few hours while the band mimes and lip-synchs away.
Interested? Hit the group up at HotDeuceVideo@gmail.com with your name and the response will include the location of the shoot, which is taking place somewhere in Williamsburg.
Check out the lyric video for “Still Life with Hot Deuce and Silver Platter” so you’ll know what you’re supposed to be pretend jamming along to.
