The Great Gatsby Soundtrack Revealed

After watching the following trailer that’s hit the net today, most viewers would agree with me when I say that The Great Gatsby is shaping up to be one of the biggest summer blockbusters of 2013. Along with a second trailer, info on the film’s soundtrack has been released as well.

Featuring songs by the likes of Jay-Z, Lana Del Rey, Jack White, and Gotye, things are looking to be pretty diverse for this novel-based film. Lana Del Rey’s track, “Young And Beautiful,” will serve as the lead single with a street date of April 23, and the film is slated to release on May 10.

  1. I was really looking forward to seeing the film but the choice to let an R’n’B singer sing something which was written by someone who was so much NOT and R’n’B singer really leaves a bitter taste. I think it’s really cheap of Beyonce and the rest of the crew on the film to think that choice is justified. Americans just don’t get the British style when it comes to music and the song, brilliant as it is will just make the film look like a farce.
