When I’m not typing away in my email client of choice, the UTG staff page, or the site itself, I’m probably in class. I’m less than a month out from my Associates degree in Business with a certificate in Music Industry Management. This being the case, I find that my life online bleeds into my school work – and vice versa – quite often.

In one of my classes, a group of fellow Hocking College students and myself took on a project we’ve dubbed The Robbins Crossing Sessions. This is a 5 part web series that is recorded in a 19th century log cabin village in southern Ohio. Specifically, Nelsonville on the Hocking College campus.

This unique setting and a cast of talented musicians make this a very special series which I’m happy to première today with my friends in Squid The Whale. In episode 1, vocalist Bradley Walden and guitarist Brandon Kubiac play 4 acoustic songs. They are joined by their band mates Jonathan Wagoner and Daniel Jay for an interview.

As previously noted, there will be 4 more sessions in the upcoming weeks. Soon to come are City Lights, Adam Remnant of Southeast Engine, Envoi, and Decker (Belle Histoire). Check out today’s video and stay tuned for more from Robbins Crossing.
