AbsolutePunk.net recently had an interesting chat with Taylor Madison of Pennsylvania’s Daylight where the vocalist/guitarist gave in his take on how the band is receiving criticism for giving their sound a 90’s style facelift on their latest album, Jar. Follow the jump to read the complete snippet of the interview.
I didn’t know people accused us of that. If they do, fuck ‘em. We’re pretty ‘do whatever the hell we want’ individuals, so if people think that, I don’t give a shit. What band doesn’t want more people to like their band? But that’s never our aim to get more people to like our band. We don’t compromise our songs or the way we do anything. If more people like it, then that’s cool, if less people like it then that’s their problem not ours.
