New Beyoncé Song In The Form of H&M Advertisement

Coffee’s in our systems and a new Bey track is in our ears this morning.

Mrs. Carter has a new summer collection launching soon via H&M and a video ad in support of said collection was recently released containing (what we’d assume to be a snippet of) a new track entitled “Standing On The Sun.” At just a minute and a half, the track is said to be a written collaboration by Sia and Greg Kurstin, and whether or not Beyoncé had anything to do with the written portion, the killer vocals are all her doing.

The Jonas Åkerlund directed ad features Bey and her back-ups splashing around on the beaches of Nassau donning several different swimsuits, as you would imagine, to promote her upcoming line. The sexy is there. The fire is there (literally). “Standing On The Sun” is more in line with classic Bey than previously released tracks like “Bow Down / I Been On”. As to where these tracks will end up is still a mystery to us but we can only continue to speculate that eventually the teases and fakeouts will subside and we’ll get word of a reality in Beyoncé’s seemingly mythical fifth solo effort.
