Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin is one of our favorite indie-pop acts around and we’ve been patiently waiting for a new album since they released Tape Club in 2011, their 26-song compilation consisting of unreleased songs, b-sides, and demos. We interviewed the band back in September and got word that they had been writing new material since Let It Sway released in 2010 but nothing more was revealed at the time.

Today we’ve learned that SSLYBY are set to release their new full-length album one year from the time that we interviewed them, this September 17 on Polyvinyl Records. The band have uploaded a brief 1-minute preview to Youtube which you can stream after the jump. It doesn’t give away much but what we do hear are some sweet, sweet melodies to ensure that what we’ve been looking forward to for so long may indeed be well worth the wait.
