After we shared the news earlier this week that Geoff Rickly would be debuting a second mixtape to the public, we finally have something to show for it. For those who don’t recall, the ex-Thursday frontman was held up at gunpoint in NYC earlier this month, and briefly touched on it in his Tumblog a couple of hours ago when he talked about his upcoming west coast mini-tour with Vinnie Caruana and the release of Darker Matter/// Mixtape 2.
The album can be bought at the ever-popular price of “pay what you want” through Rickly’s Bandcamp page, and because of that, we strongly encourage anybody who has ever enjoyed any of his work to help support a musician who was robbed of his medication, passport, money, iPhone, and iPad, among other things.
