MUSIC VIDEO: Salt Cathedral – “Fields”

It’s not often that we come across a killer indie math-rock band with excellently alluring female vocals. In fact, off the top of my head, I can’t really think of any at all. This is part of the reason we’re so happy to have found Brooklyn’s Salt Cathedral awhile back with the infectious “Take Me To The Sea.”

Now the band has released a brand new music video for their single, “Fields,” and we can pretty much guarantee that it’ll be the oddest video you’ll watch today, or perhaps even this week. “Fields” comes off the group’s newly released self-titled EP which you can order here in digital and limited edition vinyl formats.

Following perfectly on the heels of “Take Me To The Sea,” “Fields” boasts fantastic musicianship layered perfectly behind Juliana Ronderos’ beautiful vocal delivery for a combination quite unlike anything we’ve had the pleasure of experiencing.
