Following last week’s release of “Centipede,” Childish Gambino has released a new video trailer for an upcoming project that captures our imagination as much as it confuses us.

Entitled Clapping For The Wrong Reasons, the new clip from Childish Gambino features a montage of scenes that seem to take place in and around the same Californian home. Viewers watch Gambino walk his stairs with a basketball (multiple times), reflect in the shower, and engage in conversation/activities with a variety of notable faces. Chance The Rapper and Trinidad James can be seen playing Connect 4, not to mention Flying Lotus, and there are also appearances from Danielle Fishel (better known as Topanga from Boy Meets World), and porn star Abella Anderson.

If I had to take a shot in the dark, I would guess this new trailer will eventually lead to a song/video reveal. It could be something more (like an album, perhaps), but it feels too early in the promotional game for Gambino to pull that card.
