Summer is winding down and the difficult task of building a playlist to meet the transition in weather and mood is showing its ugly face once more. You want to save a piece of summer’s intrigue, but welcome the fall on good terms, so whatever are you to do? I don’t have all the answers, but I do know the remix to have this weekend just hit the net courtesy of Debian Blak and we’re giving it to you for free.
Ellie Goulding has been one of the go-to artists for any party playlist since “Lights” first began to find its way across the internet. Her 2013 singles “I Need Your Love” and “Burn” have kept her in heavy rotation at radio and in the club, but all that repetition can make any song feel tired after awhile.

Having risen out of the Leeds music scene when he was only a teen, Blak continues to build his worldwide brand with a new take on “Burn.” By adding a four-on-the-floor edit with layers of reverb and sharp snares to the original track he’s delivered a new effort that breathes fresh life and unique emotion into one of the year’s most popular songs.
