MOD SUN spent the summer working on his debut album, and now that he’s back on the road supporting Hoodie Allen on his fall headlining tour the king of hippie-hop is ready to share his new material with the world.

Recently, Absolutepunk staffer Jake Denning attended an Oregon stop on Hoodie Allen’s Party With Your Friends tour. While there, Jake captured a video of MOD SUN performing a new song titled “Free Love.” The song, which you can stream via live video at the end of this post, is one of the first to be confirmed for MOD SUN’s forthcoming debut album.

There is no word yet on when fans can expect MOD SUN’s debut, but if we had to guess 2014 would be a good place to start. Comment below and let us know your thoughts on MOD’s new material.
