Fireworks Teasing News, Release Cryptic Image

Michigan pop rock favorites Fireworks have been more or less quiet since wrapping up their stint on the 2012 installment of the Vans Warped Tour. There has been no new music since that time, and only a handful of rumors as far as recording is concerned, but this afternoon an update to the band’s official website has us believing something big is on the horizon.

The artwork for Fireworks’ last album, Gospel, featured an image of a young boy with what appeared to be a demon standing ominously behind him. This afternoon, Fireworks appear to be continuing that boy’s journey by releasing a strange new image that features a character that is at the very least similar to the boy transforming into a wolf. You can view the image at the end of this post.

Fireworks have yet to reveal the meaning to the image, but the rumors being generated from fans range from a new album to touring news, label news, and beyond. A quick look at the source code reveals no additional information on the image, but rest assured we’ll continue to follow this story as it develops and update you as new information is made available. For now, comment below and let us know what you think Fireworks are planning.
