Billy Joel Books A Residency At Madison Square Garden

When you’re Billy Joel you can do whatever you want. This includes playing Madison Square Garden for as long as you can.

The piano man has already played over 40 shows at the New York venue throughout the years. Back in 2006 he even sold out 12 in a row. Fast forward almost a decade later and he’s announced he’ll be putting on a show at Madison Square Garden every month starting January 2014.

Joel will continue to play as long as he’s in demand so once tickets stop selling, he’ll stop playing. Seeing that he was able to sell out 12 in a row, we can guess he’ll at least play up until 2015. For now, he’s booked up until May 9, which happens to be his 65th birthday. Check out his Garden dates below.
