Required Listening: A$AP Nast Featuring Method Man – “Trillmatic”

It has been a minute since we heard from the members of A$AP Mob, but last night a new single hit the net that’s guaranteed to improve your day tenfold.

Bringing together A$AP Nast with Wu-Tang legend Method Man, “Trillmatic” is the lead single off the Mob’s forthcoming compilation project, L.O.R.D. The project won’t hit shelves until March 2014, but this is the kind of single that could have legs that last months at radio. By combining the Mob’s beloved take on trill music with 90s-inspired production Nast and Method are given a one-of-a-kind beat with groove that just won’t quit. The verses are on point and the visuals in the video are as well. You can view the clip at the end of this post.

Now that Rocky and Ferg have albums on shelves it’s only a matter of time until another member of the A$AP Mob steps forward with a new solo project. I was into Nast before “Trillmatic,” but after people hear this track I have a feeling he’ll be the member in demand the most. Comment below and let us know your thoughts on the track.
