WATCH: We Are The In Crowd’s “The Best Thing (That Never Happened)” Video

We Are The In Crowd released the video for “The Best Thing (That Never Happened)” today and it’s already been played in my apartment one too many times.

If you took what you already loved about the Poughkeepsie pop rock band and tossed in some of that Nickelodeon show Ariana Grande sprang from, you’d have the best explanation for this song. It’s catchy as hell and showcases the sass we’ve come to expect from We Are The In Crowd’s lyrics. What’s missing from this video though is a cutesy storyline – guess they’re growing up.

“The Best Thing (That Never Happened)” is off the band’s upcoming album Weird Kids, out February 18 on Hopeless Records. It’s the follow up to their 2011 release Best Intentions. 2014 is looking really good for We Are The In Crowd. They got this great single, a new album and are going to be heading out on a headlining tour with William Beckett, Candy Hearts, Set It Off and State Champs.
