On paper, Diamond Youth should not work. The idea of ex-members of hardcore heavyweights Trapped Under Ice and Down To Nothing playing good old-fashioned guitar rock seems destined for failure – until you hear the songs, that is. If you need any proof, the group’s new single, “Can’t Shake the Feeling,” is a great place to start. Check out a music video for the track after the break.
The song will appear on Diamond Youth’s upcoming EP, The Shake, out February 4, 2014 on Topshelf Records. It will be the band’s fourth EP, following their early 2013 release, Orange. Pre-order a copy right here.
