Linkin Park, The Offspring And More To Play A ‘Concert For The Philippines’

When a natural disaster strikes, Linkin Park isn’t too far behind trying to do something to help out. They announced they’ll be teaming up with The Offspring for a fundraising event in LA next year to benefit those affected by the recent Philippines’ typhoon.

The last time Music For Relief, Linkin Park’s not-for-profit organization, stepped up like this it was for victims of the earthquake/tsunami in Japan a couple years ago. They did a show in LA for fans who donated to relief efforts then, and that seems to be the case this time around as well.

The first 300 fans who donate at least $250 to Music for Relief’s Typhoon Relief will get GA tickets to the “Concert for the Philippines” on January 11 at Club Nokia. The top 75 fundraising fans will get special VIP perks like meet and greets, reserved seating, a pre-party, parking (a big deal in downtown LA) and commemorative merch.

Linkin Park and The Offspring will be joined that night by other artists who are still TBA. You can find out more about the show and what you can do to help here.
