Holy crap. Today, we are pleased to share with you the new trailer for Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. This trailer is everything you need to get excited about the follow-up to Rise of the Planet of the Apes: destruction, chaos, but not giving away too much about the plot where you know the entire story. In the trailer we get to see the decline of modern society, with humans rallying to fight for their survival. We won’t give too much away, because it’s the build-up that really brings the excitement, but what we can say is that this is one of our most anticipated films of 2014.

When Rise of the Planet of the Apes came out in 2011, it completely surprised us, and the world, with how great it was. Generally, our staff doesn’t clamor for a sequel, but Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is not only welcomed, but we feel is completely necessary. The special effects look as great as ever, and the intensity seems to have ramped up drastically, which to us, is always a good thing. We’re so excited to explore this world and check out what Caesar is up to when the film comes out on July 11, 2014.
