Entirely unafraid of being lost in the end-of-the-year shuffle, The Republic of Wolves released their sophomore album, No Matter How Narrow this week, and now they have premiered a music video for the album’s first single, “Spare Key,” over at Alternative Press. The Long Island, New York band shot and edited the video on their own, with just a little help from a cinematographer friend, and they had this to say about the clip’s story:
We wanted the two parts of the video to reflect a shifting dichotomy of materialism and luxury versus nature and simplicity. The storyline is really obscure and open to interpretation, which was an intentional reflection of our lyrical style
After you check out the video, be sure to pick up a copy of No Matter How Narrow from Simple Stereo.
