Welcome to the last Weekly Wax of 2013! We’re sending out the year with a slew of new pre-orders for film soundtracks (All Is Lost, the pricey but cool-looking Frozen set), punk reissues (The Bomb, Rise Against), and Fadeaway Records‘ Friends, which has the most stacked tracklist of any compilation in recent memory.
This week also saw the launch of the first Under The Gun vinyl review. Check out what Brian had to say about the recent repressing of Circa Survive‘s Juturna right here.
There are already a lot of cool releases on the horizon for 2014, some of which have already been announced, so check out the full roundup after the break, and we’ll see you next year!

Not sure if I can fully grasp this bootleg concept, are they or are they not legitimate copies?
“A bootleg recording is an audio or video recording of a performance that was not officially released by the artist or under other legal authority.”
I have no personal experience with bootleg vinyl but I have heard that ofttimes they tend to sound really bad in quality. I stay away from them but many collect them due to their uniqueness and or rarity.
