The six piece hardcore outfit known as Illusions officially released their debut EP and broke up in the same day. The band didn’t go into details as to why they decided to call it quits, however, they did indicate it had something to do with discrepancies between them and their label. Back in December, the band released their EP a little early for fans to download for free. Today was official release date for the EP, and since they don’t have anymore free downloads available, they have Origins available for only $1. You can pick it up via Bandcamp.
As some of you may or may not know, after discrepancies with our label and a number of conversations amongst ourselves, Illusions has decided that our time as a band is up. It was a great time while it lasted, but given the circumstances, we agreed that quite frankly, it just wasn’t working anymore.
Our debut EP, Origins was originally set to be released in approximately twenty minutes from now, but on Christmas Day, it was posted on bandcamp for free download as a thank you to all of you who have supported us through our journey. The support has been amazing.
Unfortunately we have run out of free downloads on the site, but we will continue to offer it to you all for as little as possible for as long as we can.
Be sure to keep up with us! Some of us are sticking together and some of us are doing new things, but rest assured, this page will provide updates as to what we are all doing musically.
