‘Paranormal Activity’ Creators Have Big Finale Planned

With the fifth and final Paranormal Activity set to be released later this year, the creators are opening up just a bit about how it’ll all come to end.

The first Paranormal Activity’s budget was only $15,000 but it raked in over $190 million worldwide back in 2009, so it was safe to assume a sequel was necessary. The movies continued to do well and spawn more, making it a very profitable horror franchise. Now that it’s heading out the creators aren’t going to let it fizzle away.

Director Christopher Landon said when it comes to the end, “We’ve always been looking ahead. I’ll say this much: there is a very specific end goal and I’m hoping we have enough time in the franchise to get there.”

Paranormal Activity 5 will be out on October 24, coincidentally but not surprisingly around Halloween.

No, it’s not the “final one.” Not sure where you got that.
