Stream A Summery New Song From The Pass, “Sunny Day”

Louisville, Kentucky’s synth-pop kings in The Pass are kicking off 2014 in a pretty ambitious way. The band will be releasing a 7″ single every month for four months. Every release comes with a full color jacket and will have a different colored vinyl for each release, all building up to the release of their highly anticipated forthcoming album in the summer.

The first single in the series will be released on January 14, and you can pre-order the whole thing now for $25 over at their webstore. Your name will be on the back of the fourth and final 7″ in April, which is pretty cool.

They’re streaming the first of those four singles now, an appropriately sunny track titled “Sunny Day” which will provide a much-needed relief for those cold months (and that awful polar vortex). It doesn’t stray too far from their previous material, but that’s not a bad thing at all – they know what they’re (extremely) good at and stick with it. Check out the stream after the jump and let us know what you think of the track.
