New York City’s Skaters could be the next big thing in indie rock. That’s a pretty bold statement, but they certainly have the songs to back it up. Their new single, “Miss Teen Massachusetts,” for example, is a rousing, infectious track with a giant chorus hook that is guaranteed to be stuck in your head the rest of the day.
The song will appear on Skaters’ debut full-length, Manhattan, out February 25 on Warner Bros. Records. It will be the band’s second release since signing to the major label, following a seven-inch single featuring “I Wanna Dance (But I Don’t Know How)” and a B-side, “Armed.” Preorder the Manhattan right here and catch the quartet on tour in the UK in February and March. Dates are listed after the break.
