New York’s The End of America recently covered The Band’s “The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down” on AltarTV.
“We had a show April of last year in New York that we were meeting up to rehearse for a couple hours before the show. We heard that one of our musical heroes had died that day…and decided to learn this song last minute in his honor,” said Brendan Thomas.
The song is from The Band’s classic self-titled 1969 release, which can be picked up here.
