Miley Cyrus Plans To Just Give Merch Away On ‘Bangerz’ Tour

She had a very interesting 2013 but now that the shock’s starting to wear off, Miley Cyrus is setting her sights on having one of the best shows of 2014 when she hits the road on the ‘Bangerz’ Tour. She recently had a conference where she mentioned free merch, her animated inspiration and how she’s not in it for the money.

You may not want to stand in line to get a t-shirt when you see Miley because she’ll be giving away free items, but watch your head. She said, “I want to give my fans real things they can collect. I’m a little bit of a hoarder. It’s my mom’s worst nightmare. I hope my fans become hoarders also. I’m giving a lot of junk away… I’ll have things falling out of the sky that most people would sell at the merch table.”

As for the look of the tour, remember Ren & Stimpy? Well the work of creator John K was Miley’s muse when it came time to design the show.

You’d think this was all for show and that she were doing it to make some money, but she swears she isn’t in it to build her bank account. She had a point when she mentioned, “My thing has never been about me making money. I did that when I was a kid. I made the money I needed to make and now it’s about putting money into the tour and making sure my fans get the best show, making it worth going to see.”

The ‘Bangerz’ Tour kicks off on Valentine’s Day in Canada, goes all through there and the US and then winds down in Germany at the end of May.
