Phantom Planet Reunion In The Works

California’s Phantom Planet may be preparing for a reunion in 2014.

This afternoon, the group’s Twitter account offered an ominous “RAISE THE DEAD…” The phrase is a reference to their 2008 album of the same name, but it certainly gives the impression that more shows and, if we’re lucky, new music could be in the works.

This won’t be the first time Phantom Planet have reconvened following their indefinite hiatus more than five years ago. In the summer of 2012, the beloved band took to the stage again for a couple shows, but have been fairly silent since. While we have no concrete details about the band’s plans for this year, we’ll let you know the moment they surface.
