Rise Records have announced the addition of Alive Like Me to their ever-growing roster of hard rock talent. The band will release their debut album sometime during summer 2014.

Hailing from the state of Oregon, Alive Like Me are a modern metalcore outfit boasting a sound that falls perfectly in line with the biggest names from Rise Records history. They say there is no reason to fix a system that isn’t broken and after listening to Alive Like Me’s new single “Start Again” it’s easy to understand why Rise would take that message to heart. The messaging Rise was using to tease this announcement led some to believe the band Brand New may have joined the label, but truth be told I think this is actually for the best. Rise has had a number of bands ‘break out’ in the last year, making now the ideal time for the label to showcase new talent. Comment below and let us know your thoughts on Alive Like Me.
