Big Sean has always been the type of artist to give back to his fans whenever possible, and last night he kept that trend alive with the release of a new track titled “1st Quarter Freestyle.”

The first new song to surface from Sean since the late summer 2013 release of his sophomore album, “1st Quarter Freestyle” is five-minutes of bar after bar showcasing Sean’s robust lyrical prowess. He touches on his activity as of late, what motivates him, and of course his ever-increasing wealth. You can stream and download the song, as well as view the track’s official video, below.

Free music on the fly is nothing new from Big Sean, but it’s always appreciated. “1st Quarter Freestyle” seems to offer little in the form of lasting replay value, but it certainly offers further proof Sean is amongst the most skilled emcees in the game today.
