Yesterday, to celebrate Valentine’s Day, Misery Signals vocalist, Karl Schubach, released a newly recorded acoustic version of the band’s song “Ebb & Flow,” taken from 2008’s ground-breaking record, Controller. You can give it a listen by following the jump.
Schubach explained his reasoning behind the post in the video’s “about” section, saying “I didn’t write the lyrics to “Ebb & Flow” about a specific person. Instead, I wrote it with the idea that one day I’d be fortunate enough to put a name and face to the words. I can say, with confidence, today is that day.” Kudos to you, Karl!
Last Summer, Misery Signals released their first album in five years, Absent Light, and it absolutely ruled, so I’d highly suggest you head over to the group’s official website and pick up a copy for yourself.
