Spitta Andretti is giving back to fans this weekend with the release of a brand new album/mixtape titled, The Drive In Theater.
The first new music to surface from Curren$y since the release of New Jet City, which in Spitta terms might as well have been a century ago, The Drive In Theater offers listeners a chill fourteen-track collection that pairs with every occasion. The free project features Action Bronson, Freddie Gibbs, Young Roddy, Smoke DZA, Fiend, Cardo, and more. You can stream and download The Drive In Theater below.
There was a time when Curren$y pounced on every beat with a feverish intensity, but these days he’s more inclined to find a smoother flow that makes listeners want to revisit his material again and again. He knows he no longer has anything to prove, and as a result is able to better explore the lyrical possibilities of any given beat. He’s on his grown man game, and it makes for a deeply satisfying listening experience.
