The Week In Trailers (02/15/14)

Everyone has a different level of love for movies. Some people like to show up to the theater just in the nick of time to catch their flick, choosing to skip seeing the trailers before the feature. Others will make sure they arrive early enough to see all the previews so they can get excited for upcoming films. The Week In Trailers is for the second kind of people.

Here are a few trailers released in the last week all conveniently in one place for your viewing pleasure.

The Two Faces Of January

This international thriller set in 1962 stars Viggo Mortensen and Kirsten Dunst as a couple in Athens that find themselves in the middle of a murder after they invite a young American (Oscar Isaac) to dinner. If that cast does not sell you maybe the fact that it was produced by the same people as Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and written by the guy that wrote Drive will.

Brick Mansions

Set in dystopian Detroit (or as we here in Michigan like to call it: Detroit) this straight ahead action movie pits Paul Walker against RZA. Walker’s only help is an ex-convict (David Belle) and they look like they’ll need every bit of strength they have to save the city.

The Love Punch

When a divorced couple (Pierce Brosnan, Emma Thompson) have their retirement funds stolen they scheme a jewel heist to recoup their losses. This British comedy should be positively delightful and if nothing else I am sure your mom would love to see it.

In Case You Missed It:

Here are the trailers we already covered earlier this week on Under The Gun Review.
