New York’s Miniature Tigers can cheer you up even on the coldest of days (see: today). They know how to tug synth and bubblegum vocals into pop without making you sick, not to mention rocking some pretty clever lyrics.

Now the group is back with “Swimming Pool Blues,” the first track off their upcoming record, Cruel Runnings, due out May 27. It’s dance-able and simple, tossing any complicated witty lyrics from their past work aside in an attempt to hurry the warm weather along. Hey, I’m not complaining.
